The invaders swarmed into the fortress, their numbers overwhelming the undead army. Steve fought alongside the Zombie King, but he could see that they were fighting a losing battle. The enemy creatures were too powerful, too many, and too determined to defeat them.

Encouraged by their success, Steve and the undead army pressed their attack, taking down more and more of the enemy leaders. Slowly but surely, the tide of the battle turned in their favor. The enemy creatures began to falter, and their numbers began to dwindle.

As the last of the enemy creatures fell, a cheer went up from the undead army. They had won the battle, and the fortress was safe once again.

Steve looked around at the devastation and the loss of so many undead soldiers. He knew that they had won this battle, but the war was far from over. There would always be new enemies, new battles to fight. But for now, they could rest and regroup.

Steve went to the Zombie King, who was still lying on the ground, motionless. He realized that the Zombie King was not going to recover from the battle. But he also realized that the Zombie King had shown him something important. The Zombie King had shown him that even the undead could be more than mindless monsters. There was hope for them, a chance for them to be something more.

Steve decided to stay in the fortress and help the remaining undead soldiers rebuild. Together, they would make a new home and a new life, one where the undead could live in peace and prosperity. It was a long road ahead, but Steve was determined to see it through.
